Homemade Blocks

Our friends and relatives Lars and Corina have made these blocks for Josie two years ago, I believe. Corina, you see, is an artist of multiple facets, known particularly for her jewelry (of which I, rest assured, own a few pieces). Corina is a believer in the fact that homemade gifts are a very special thing, hence this:

I think I remember them telling me that those took about couple weeks to complete, but don’t quote me on that. I think he cut them and they all painted them together. Incidentally, we received this gift just around the time I realized my daughter was ready to play with blocks. Did they know? I am not sure. Now I’m not big on having a lot of toys around, but these here are among the most special ones we do own.

Now baby Cyrus thinks those are pretty special too.

And he likes to show them off.
