“The Cat’s Away” Supper

January 25, 2010 § Leave a comment

You know what I really enjoy every once in a while? Buffalo wings! Unfortunately, saving the wings from a homegrown chicken strikes me as impractical (though I might consider this in the future), so the wings have to come from the store. Because this is not Jacob’s idea of good supper, on the account of the storebotten chicken, I mostly get to eat this when he’s out of town. I always enjoyed wings, but never tried making them myself, until I discovered this wonderful recipe from Ree Drummond. I even went out of my way and made “my own” Ranch dressing. “My own” is in quotes because I used the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and Salad Mix.

Pretend you didn't watch "Food, Inc."

I enjoyed my meal thoroughly.
