Puff Pastry Pasties

Now that you know how to make puff pastry, let’s make puff pastry pasties!
This will give us three nice big pasties. They are so filling on the account of consisting 50% of butter that you don’t need more than one per person. If that.
Roll each square out to the desired thinness and place the filling in the center.
My pasty filling consists of three simple components:
- chopped onions
- browned venison hamburger
- cubed boiled potatoes
Plus salt and pepper.
Fold the pasties over to make a triangle, pinch the edges together, brush the tops with a beaten egg, and bake for 10 min at 400 degrees, then another 10 min at 375. Or maybe a tad longer.
