Rich Food for Lean Times in Chicago Reader this week!

May 13, 2010 § 2 Comments

I have something very, very exciting to share with you – my little baby blog is in Chicago Reader this week! A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a writer for the publication, Martha Bayne, who expressed interest in writing a feature about my little project and my cookbook ambition. I cannot begin to tell you how deeply honored I was! I think Martha, who has a cookbook herself, did an amazing job with my crazy life story! I want to thank Martha and her editor, Kate Schmidt, by whom I also had the pleasure of being interviewed, for your interest and all the kind words that you said and wrote!

The artcile should appear in this week’s printed version of the paper, and you can also read it online here:

May 15 is the Feast day for the patron saint of farmers. Do you have any special food planned for that day? My family tries to keep a “feast” in the most literal sense of the word, and I’m always on the lookout for special things for the kids.
    Thanks!
