“Heart of Darkness” Lava Cakes
June 18, 2010 § 3 Comments
Hurray, my quest to develop a perfect lava cake (read “easy but show-stopping but easy”) has been successful after 3 attempts. And here’s a thing – you have to eat quite a few imperfect ones before you arrive at a winner. But you know what – it took Tomas Edison longer to invent a light-bulb. Granted, this is not a light-bulb. In fact, this is a bit like inventing a bicycle. But you’d be surprised by how much wiggle room there is – just stay tuned for the recipe. Oh, and the topping? Well, you’ll just have to wait to find out. Hint: it features a primary seasonal ingredient currently at its height in my garden.
Wowie – gonna have to hide this from The Professor . . . he and chocolate go wayyyy back!
Hm… why hide it? Better make it and tell me if you like it!
ummmm the cake looks amazing. I really want some of it!
